Laundry Pickup & Delivery in Royal Oak Township, MI

Detroit Laundry Service picks up, washes, folds and delivers laundry in Royal Oak Township, MI. A kitchen trash bag is $38, delivery is free, and your laundry comes back the next day.

Laundry Pickup Along 8 Mile

Royal Oak Township is a small community on the north side of 8 Mile, bordered by Ferndale, Oak Park, and Detroit. It covers less than a square mile, and most of it is apartments, townhomes, and compact homes where laundry means a shared laundry room or a trip to the laundromat.

Detroit Laundry Service takes that trip off your list. We pick up from your door, wash and fold everything, and bring it back the next day.

The township is not the same place as the city of Royal Oak a few miles north. We serve both.

Built for Apartments and Townhomes

Shared machines mean waiting your turn, carrying baskets across the complex, and hoping nobody pulled your load out early. Pickup and delivery skips all of it.

Leave your bag outside your unit door on your scheduled day and it comes back to the same spot the following day. You do not need to be home. If your building has a main entrance, a gate, or a leasing office, add those details in the notes at checkout and we will follow them every time.

What It Costs

A standard kitchen trash bag is $38, washed, dried, and folded. For most people that is two to three loads. Use any other bag and we charge $2.50 per pound instead. There is no membership and no delivery fee.

Bag everything together, towels and sheets included, and we sort it before washing. Comforters are $22 each or three for $50.

Your first order comes with a free reusable Detroit Laundry bag.

What do our
customers say?

Do you serve Royal Oak Township, or only the city of Royal Oak?

Both. Royal Oak Township, along 8 Mile next to Ferndale and Oak Park, is inside our regular service area, and so is the city of Royal Oak. Call or text 313-375-5355 if you want to confirm your address.

I share a laundry room with my building. Is this worth it?

For most people, yes. There is no waiting for a machine, no carrying baskets across the complex, and no quarters. A standard kitchen bag is $38 washed, dried, and folded, and it comes back the next day.

Do I have to sign up for weekly service?

No. Order whenever you need it. If you do set up a recurring pickup, we text you the day before, and you can skip any week by simply not replying. There are no fees for skipping.
